2. What SalesCard does
SalesCard is a mobile-first CRM and sales productivity app for freelancers, recruiters, consultants, agencies, small teams, and small to mid-sized businesses. It helps users capture contacts, manage leads, stay in touch, schedule follow-ups, understand relationship activity, and reduce administrative work.
3. Data we process
- Account data: name, email address, login method, profile details, language, account status, and security information.
- Contact and lead data: names, companies, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, reminders, tasks, tags, relationship status, pipeline status, activity history, and sales context entered or imported by the user.
- Business card and import data: business card images, scanned text, QR/NFC contact details, CSV/vCard imports, and contact fields selected by the user.
- Calendar data: availability, event metadata, meeting titles, dates, attendees, time zones, and scheduling information when the user connects Google or Microsoft calendar services.
- Email workflow data: email addresses, draft metadata, templates, follow-up context, selected attachments, and related metadata when the user enables email-related features.
- Subscription and billing data: plan status, free or paid tier, trial status, purchase identifiers, subscription status, app-store purchase metadata, and payment provider records where paid features are used.
- Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, IP address, security logs, and performance information.
- Support data: emails, messages, screenshots, error reports, and other information users provide when requesting support.
4. Why we process data
- To create, authenticate, secure, and manage user accounts.
- To provide contact capture, lead management, reminders, follow-ups, scheduling, pipeline, insights, imports, and mobile CRM features.
- To provide Google and Microsoft sign-in, calendar, and email-related features where authorized by the user.
- To operate free, freemium, trial, and paid subscription features.
- To provide customer support, troubleshoot bugs, improve reliability, and protect against misuse or fraud.
- To comply with app-store, accounting, tax, legal, security, and regulatory obligations.
5. Legal bases under GDPR
- Contract: processing needed to provide SalesCard accounts and app features requested by the user.
- Consent: optional permissions such as Google/Microsoft integrations, calendar access, email-related access, notifications, or optional analytics where required.
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement, diagnostics, support, and product reliability.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, consumer protection, platform compliance, and legal record-keeping.
6. Google API data
If users connect a Google account, SalesCard uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that the user chooses, such as sign-in, calendar availability, meeting creation, and email-assisted workflows. SalesCard’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SalesCard does not sell Google user data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. Human access is limited to cases necessary for security, support requested by the user, legal compliance, or service operation.
7. Microsoft data
If users connect a Microsoft account, SalesCard uses Microsoft account and Microsoft Graph data only for the user-facing features the user authorizes, such as sign-in, calendar availability, meeting creation, and productivity workflows. Users can revoke access from SalesCard settings where available or from their Microsoft account permissions page.
8. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers needed to operate SalesCard, including hosting, authentication, database infrastructure, email delivery, crash reporting, analytics, customer support, app-store payment processing, subscription management, and Google/Microsoft integration providers. These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services or meet legal and security obligations.
9. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries outside Germany or the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as data processing agreements, contractual protections, and recognized transfer mechanisms.
10. Retention
Account and CRM data are generally retained while the account is active. Data may be deleted or anonymized after account deletion unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, backup, or app-store obligations. Backup copies and logs may remain for a limited period before routine deletion.
11. User rights
Users may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, and receive a portable copy of their personal data. Users may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. Requests can be sent to info@sales-card.com.
12. Account deletion
Users can request account and data deletion through the Delete Account page or by emailing info@sales-card.com from the account email address where possible.
13. Children
SalesCard is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, integrations, subscriptions, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
